I am SO excited to share that my planned photoshoot at Swanbourne House is published in Wedding Chicks!
This is honestly a dream come true. I had a vision that I wanted to bring to life – filled with fresh fruit, stunning flowers, and a colour scheme that shouts summer, this beautiful theme shows you can bring luxury destination weddings to you, wherever you are.
Swanbourne House Wedding Venue
Swanbourne House is the perfect setting for any wedding. The 18th century historic building is located in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. The venue offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, perfect for your wedding any time of year.
The main room indoors is ideal for dreamy photos with neutral tones and big windows to let in all of that gorgeous light. Should you opt for an outdoor ceremony or reception, there are SO many beautiful areas with well-kept lawns and stunning views.
About the Photoshoot
This shoot was inspired by colour. Primarily mixing beautiful pinks with sunshine yellows, and adding a hint of lavender… tropical and citrus fruit scattered on every table, the sweet smell of fresh blooms everywhere you go… what more do you need to feel transported to a luxury summer celebration?
Adding fruit as décor is such a great way to create a fresh and vibrant feel to your wedding day. It immediately adds an array of colour, luscious scents, and a unique twist with original designs, using what nature has to offer. This is an easy DIY option too – where you can purchase whatever fruit you would like, and cut and arrange it to your perfect vision.
Couple this with stunning pink tableware and touches of gold, this summer style is heightened to absolute luxury.
The Bride & Groom
Just as you think this scene can’t look any more Pinterest worthy, our stunning Bride enters wearing the most gorgeous ballroom gown – off the shoulder, big puff sleeves and a skirt that could twirl forever. Hand in hand with her Groom, who’s wearing a beige, sand coloured suit to tie in beautifully with the light summery theme.
A lace wedding dress change for cocktails and the reception, this chic fitted dress has the most amazing sleeves, perfect for a party in the sunshine.
What’s more: beautifully illustrated stationery with hand drawn accents, a 3 tier cake with carefully hand piped floral decoration, a bar making unique summer cocktails with fresh fruit – zingy lemon and ripe watermelon.
The epitome of summer bliss, brought to you as luxury wedding inspiration.
